"It is best to love wisely, no doubt: but to love foolishly is better than not to be able to love at all."

Hello, my dear friends. It has been indeed a very long time since I posted something on my blog. I guess I have been very busy elsewhere. Yeah, yeah you guys would want to know what else could be more important than my blog. Well, let me just say that I have met someone really really special and he has been the center of my attention lately. In fact, I tried writing several times but just could not get past the writer's block. I guess this is what love does to you. Though I cannot say for sure it's really love, but yes, I am totally besotted with him. I had often wondered why I am still single and why did I always end up meeting the wrong guy, in fact it was more like a pattern. The same kind of guy and the same kind of problems, so obviously it always ended on more or less the same note. But this time things have been different because this time the gentleman in question is not a Muslim. This is precisely why I am actually happy in a relationship and I don't go around saying "I hate men. All men are bastards." Because he is different, he is not like a typical man because he is not a male chauvinist Muslim man. He is a very pious, practising Christian man and he is trying his level best to show me the path to Christ. May God help him in his noble mission.

A lot has been happening at the work front lately. One of my stupid colleagues, yes, yes, the stupid Egyptian guy, came over to my office the other day rather excited and said, "Guess what Shakila, I have discovered something really unbelievable in the Quran. Something that no one has ever realized before me."

I was like, "Wow Ahmed, you never cease to amaze me. So tell me, what is it this time?"

He said, "Do you know about Stem Cell?"

I said, "Yes, I do, and I am pretty much interested in it and read a lot about it since it was in the news a lot lately."

He said, "Exactly, it has been in the news for the last decade or so, but you know something? Quran mentions about Stem Cell 14 centuries ago."

I was totally flabbergasted, to say the least. I almost gulped on my coffee and said, "Wow, Ahmed, amazing. Please tell me more." He then quoted the following verse of the Quran in Arabic and then translated it into English:

Surah Al-Hajj
O mankind! if ye are in doubt concerning the Resurrection, then lo! We have created you from dust, then from a drop of seed, then from a clot, then from a little lump of flesh shapely and shapeless, that We may make (it) clear for you. And We cause what We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed time, and afterward We bring you forth as infants, then (give you growth) that ye attain your full strength. And among you there is he who dieth (young), and among you there is he who is brought back to the most abject time of life, so that, after knowledge, he knoweth naught. And thou (Muhammad) seest the earth barren, but when We send down water thereon, it doth thrill and swell and put forth every lovely kind (of growth). (5)

Yeah, I know what you guys are thinking. I was as stumped as you are. For the life of me, I cannot fathom where the hell is Stem Cell mentioned in the above verse, but no, the ever-so-wise Mr. Ahmed thinks that the verse speaks very clearly about the Stem Cell. Hmmmm... Didn't I always say that Muslims are totally weird? And that is actually an understatement.

Well, all I can say is that I am so thankful to God almighty that I never actually got married to a lunatic Muslim man, though I have to admit, I did come quite close to it a few times. But thank God, my common sense had always kicked in at the right time, though I never really knew at that time why I was refusing the man in question. Now that I am not a blind Muslim woman anymore, I know it beyond any doubt that I would have never been happy with a Muslim MCP. I kind of feel sorry for my mom, my grand moms, my aunts, cousins and my friends for having to live through the hell...

I really do not want to waste any more of my energies on all these negative depressing thoughts, because I am really very happy these days.. First of all, I am totally and completely out of the evil cult called Islam, and secondly I am so happy with John... He is surely the best thing that has ever happened to me...

I can't promise but I will try my level best not to take such a long sabbatical from my blog again. Love you all...

Not until you leave the Muslim country you live in.

  2. P.S.: For one thing, if you're in a Muslim country, then there must be a variety of extra-ordinary difficulties that would hamper a budding romantic relationship between a recently ex-Muslim apostate female and a Christian male. If there aren't such difficulties which you would experience and have to endure (difficulties which seem left curiously unmentioned in your blog entry) in the Muslim country you live in, then one would reasonably begin to wonder if Islamic societies are not all that bad.

    1. Muslim women are not able to have contact with Muslim men, let alone non-Muslim men. Shakila would be considered Muslim in Pakistan unless she renounced her faith... But then she'll be put to death.

      Ahh, good ol' Islam.

I should be put to death for insulting the Prophet. Too bad Muslims are just too stupid or cowardly to carry out the punishment.

Firstly, I am happy for you that you have found someone that you feel comfortable and content with.

Going back to your quote above : isn't it life threatening that you are still in touch with your Muslim clan? I guess John will take you to his country and away from your lethal and toxic contacts. As I remember you love your mum and dad and the works a lot. You've a lot ahead of you to clear up. Good luck with your new and happy living. Enjoy it. -

Really? That's the most ambiguous statement of Creation I have ever heard. I don't know why Muslims believe in this stuff.

"He is a very pious, practising Christian man and he is trying his level best to show me the path to Christ. May God help him in his noble mission." How many Christians have you met Shakila, certainly this isn't the first...

"First of all, I am totally and completely out of the evil cult called Islam, and secondly I am so happy with John... He is surely the best thing that has ever happened to me..." May God keep you but be wise, we all know what things lead to in Pakistan... As a matter of fact, a Pakistani student declared that drawing the Prophet (which I had done) is illegal. I responded: "You know what the scholars say about this? Ibn Taymiyyah said: 'Whoever insults the Prophet, be he Muslim or Kafir, must be killed.'" Now, if he wants to mention the drawing about Muhammad again... I'll dare him to carry out the sentence. We'll see how far that goes in American society, eh?

  5. Shakila,

I wish you joy and happiness with your new found friend. I hope he turns out to be your soul-mate, someone who will honor, respect, and cherish you and whom you can honor, respect and cherish in return.

Be careful, that in your exuberance you don't expose yourself to retribution from the less enlightened around you. God bless and keep the both of you.

  7. The Sura refers to the early stages of pregnancy, well known amongst animal farmers of the day everywhere on earth, including the Americas.

Elsewhere, though, the Quran says that the child develops its skeleton first and then the flesh covers it, which is dead wrong. It is also common knowledge that Muslim physicians don't bring up this ... contrary fact publicly for the certain punishment they'd receive from religious "scholars".

    Sucker! :-)

  8. I agree with "fineliving56." You deserve all of the good things life has to offer. May you truly have met your knight in shining armor. May he sweep you off your feet to a new land and a new and happy life, where you can be true partners. May the One Above hold you in the palm of His hand, and keep you safe.

  11. Skouti's comment seems like it's been written by a teenaged boy...either that, or an uneducated adult. I do not know of any educated adults who speak the way Skouti writes -- you know, like a very childish teen. He should be encouraged to go back to school, and then return when he has something relevant and thoughtful to bring to the discussion.

  13. All I want to know is the reason , not asked nor explained , why the Surah al-Hajj (5) was so (mis-)interpreted? Why did you not at least , not confront , but ask that he explain his interpretation .For this Westerner it would have made sense and frankly it might have awoken "Ahmed's" realization that he has misinterpreted this and by implication other passages to fit into his narrow wishful sense of superiority (Obiter: Even if stem cell is referenced in the Koran 14 centuries ago , what did they do with that "knowledge" in advancing mankind or indeed for anything else other than "we first mentioned it" ... Bet you if it had been mentioned in the Torah , ... disease would all but have been eradicated by now , worldwide)

    1. BooBooDotDay the Quran is mysterious and miraculous to all but those above the level of imbeciles, which seems to be a very large number indeed. (The number to whom Islam is mysterious and miraculous).

The miraculous scientific revelations of the Quran are only upto the latest (or at least upto the last 3 centuries) scientific discoveries. It has "discovered" stem cells before they were discovered but not how to use them to cure disease, nor any further discoveries yet to be made in the future.

It relies on eradicating human disease by its urge to eradicate humans, which its followers are doing with alacrity.

In the meantime it had also discovered that the Earth is flat, the Sun goes around the Earth and sets in a muddy pool at night, prostrates below the throne of Allah and arises from the East in the morning after sliding there at Allah's command. It has discovered that there are 7 layered heavens and that the Sun and moon are further from the Earth than the stars and many other miraculous things.

Truly the Quran is mysterious and miraculous.

  16. VERY best wishes, Shakila, to you and John - and for ALL your future. As Wisdom Hunter implies, the Lord IS faithful to lead us. Just TRUST Him.

    My email signature is:

    Isa - JESUS - Y'shua : TRUST Him.

VERY few Jews are even religious and far fewer of THOSE know their Messiah, Y'shua (which, admittedly, translates to "Joshua" ... someone will have to remind me how we came to "Jesus" through the Greek).

    1. Paul Hubert,

Words and names change and evolve over time as they pass from one culture to another.

The Greek for "Jesus" is "Iesous" (and that's just an approximation, since Greek has a totally different alphabet).

While the Hebrew version is often rendered "Joshua" I don't think Hebrew has a "J" (as Greek also lacks a "J") -- in fact, Hebrew doesn't have any of our letters: as with Greek, we have to approximately equivalents with our letters for their words and names. It could well be that a more proper approximation of the ancient Hebrew form would in fact be "Yeshua" rather than "Joshua" anyway.

As Christianity evolved and the Romance languages began to evolve during the Middle Ages, we get such forms as the Germanic "Jesu" which the English adopted adding an "s" at the end (while the French and Spanish have "Jésus"; but the Italians use a "G" for their "J" sound, so they spell it "Gesù"; etc.).

    2. P.S.: I meant to add that it seems pretty plain that the Arabic "Issa" is evidently related to the Greek "Iesous" (though with Arabic an approximation of letters also has to be made because it also has its own alphabet that we don't have). Just because the Islamic "Issa" is diametrically opposed to the Biblical Jesus in content and spirit, doesn't mean that linguistically the two words are not related.

    1. skouti maybe if you didnt belong to your hate cult and got some psychiatric counselling you might find love yourself and not have to pay for sex or wait to deflower your eternally virgin houris in your mythical paradise. In other words become a normal human being.

  19. skouti - you are a one sick puppy. You should ask your mum to take you to the nearest vet immediately. It must be to do with spending too much time with the local Imam in that madrassa down town Birmingham. I heard about Muslims get hot on twelve years old boys - so did he break you when you were a young virgin at the tender age 12? Isn't that what you do - lift up your hinter to show off to the guy behind you "come and get it" I heard you guys do that six times a day..teasing the studS behind you... LOL ...a bunch of frigging banana benders.

SHAKILA - IT IS ABSOLUTELY CLEAR WHY YOU HATE THE MUSLIMS. HERE IS A DISTINCTIVE EXAMPLE OF AN EXCESSIVELY JEALOUS SKOUTI, CAN'T HANDLE TWO PEOPLE IN LOVE. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIM AND OTHERS IS THAT HE IS BROUGHT UP A MUSLIM. IF HIS BEHAVIOR DOESN'T AMOUNT TO BEING MENTALLY SICK I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE ANYONE CAN DESCRIBE IT?

  20. The problem is one of being filled with hatred and afflicted with blindness.

    I am assuming these: http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2012/March/Protestors-Honor-American-Teacher-Slain-in-Yemen/

are also Muslim ... IF they are, they are both fair and courageous. And, I suspect they will also soon give their hearts to Isa!

  22. skouti - I am not 100% sure if she is for real, because there are some obvious contradictions in her postings. That is just my critical assessment. However, since I am not sure and I cannot prove it one or the other I will have to give her the benefit of the doubt. I am happy for her.

On the other hand if she is a fake of some sort, as you keep on harping on about, then you are a bigger fool than you think you are for getting worked up. To gain some respect, you have to earn it. You are here representing your kind - Islam. You are doing a great job with your rant and tantrums confirming our negative preception about you people. Dude take it easy. Let her live her life the way she wants it. Wish her well. You should also get a life and live it. Forget about Islam. It will never going to do you any good - I am 100% sure about that.

  23. Dar schan - No drama whatseover. If Spencer wants to get his jollies posting about an apostate (for real or otherwise) then let him knock himself out. I find the whole thing mildly amusing to say the least, not too mention rather sad for spencer. Is this what he is reduced to in order to perpetuate his insane hatred of Islam ? Step back for a moment and think about it....Spencer "finds" this blogger and straight away questions about her being real or not abound and not just from me and the usual suspects. even die hard jihad watch regulars don't believe the blogger to be real. that speaks volumes in itself. As you said yourself there are contradictions in her story. Besides interest has now dimmed - Its all very dull and predictable. the hapless shakila hates, hates and if that wasn't clear.... hates Islam......how original.......YAWN!!!!
